An evening team-building, or a great team at work and beyond...
We really enjoyed Thursday's team-building. The idea to go and try a wide range of firearms came from our colleague — let's call him "Kalashnikov" — who loves guns, and surprisingly nobody objected to this great idea. Not all colleagues took part, but even so we had a great time.

The evening started the classic way — with a meet-up at the scene. This time we chose the SteamFactory shooting range in the Optima shopping centre in Košice. After professional instruction under a trainer's supervision, we got to it. We tried real firearms and played the heroes of our favourite action movies for a bit.

We have to admit, though, that in the movies it looks much easier than it really is, and some guns really do kick hard. We had the range rented just for ourselves and the time flew by.

...and what's the best thing after "hard" work done? To go and eat well. We ended our action-packed evening at a pub with good food and a beer. Casual chat alternated with new ideas for a relaxed working environment in the office. It's great that we're a well-tuned bunch of people who can work together but also have a great time outside of work hours.

We already know it wasn't the last team-building of this kind, and we think we've just started a new CODEUPP tradition.
